Traveling Light

Once upon a time there were three bags. A mama bag, a teen bag and a baby bag...all allowed as carry ons. I'm ready, set, go for Vietnam. It's a far cry from packing for Calgary in the winter. I've got light weight skirts and pants and some tops and voila! I'm ready for the heat. It will be quite the change from the cold rainy weather we keep experiencing here. This is my seventh trip to Vietnam. I can hardly believe it. I guess that is why I feel so casual about going. It has become a familiar place. I know I will find many changes there as I haven't been back for about four or five years. I am looking forward to our new adventure and all the people we will meet. I am going to several places that I have never been before. We start in Saigon and end in Hanoi. We are traveling with Wally and Glenna from our church. Our first encounter will be with Katie from our church who left for a two month back packing adventure just yesterday. She will meet us at the airport and we will have a couple of days with her in Saigon before we part company. We will also join Chuck and Joette from VWAM as we carry on. I am not bringing my laptop but I will make some posts along the way if possible from hotel computer sites. If not, then I won't. I'm traveling light not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I am at peace and it is well with my soul...If I cross your mind in the next three weeks send up a prayer. I will feel it.
Blessings.
