This was Bob's second time to be part of the Maple Ridge Garden Club Tour to raise funds for the Sunshine Children's Foundation. I am sorry to say that we were so busy greeting guests that I didn't take many pictures. It would have been impossible to capture the day and the garden of delight. The garden was impeccable. The day was picture perfect. There were hundreds of people through and you can't imagine the ooh's and ahh's that filled the atmosphere. It truly was spectacular.
I must say that it poured rain the day before and the day after and now even today. The Sunshine Foundation ushered in a Sun-shiney day and it has now become a beautiful memory to tuck in among many other beautiful memories of Bob's garden. I'm so proud of my hubby.

I am such a fan of your gardener too! Love it! Want to be there. Miss you so much sweetheart, and it would be fun to see you in your element hosting this gathering and making 700 new friends. Awesome. --Lori
ReplyDeleteAww, that did my heart good to see these photos. Very lovely and you captured it well, Linda! The garden is Bob's creation and Sophia (being your off-spring) was a delightful addition to the garden. Thanks for sharing.
