Rainy Tuesday

There will be pictures again soon but Tuesday wasn't a construction day. It was the 'ca-ching, ca-ching' shopping day. We purchased all the appliances, countertop and ceiling fan. Our dry wall man came by with a truck load delivery of sheet rock that was left over from a job site and would have been thrown away! The blessings keep pouring in. The rain also poured and I mean POURED in the afternoon. It was like being in Saigon.
Bob will be working on the countertop today after the mission and Ernest will be back to help him plumb the sink this evening. Kris should be finishing up the electrical today too.
I haven't been the one doing the construction but I'm the camp cook and gopher and job site waste removal girl. But I have to say that there is a great blanket of peace over this project.
I so appreciate the loving labor that has been put into by my hubby and his loyal crew when they are able to be here.

I had a dream last night that dad put in the carpet and had to do it really cheap to save money and he only covered part of the floors the rest was exposed concrete and the colors were forest green and navy blue striped with orange, LOL, I woke so relieved it was only a dream, LOL!! It was bad!

  2. I've had to play a little game of 'catch-up' on your blog and it is more like a game of 'catch-me-if-you-can'! The efforts of all of your labours is tremendous... looking forward to perhaps receiving an invitation from Sophia to see her new digs!
