Friday Update

Good afternoon. Here are some current snapsnots.
The landscaping had to be dug up and the deck partially dismantled. You can see the little ramp that gets us over the little ditch that had to be dug for the plumbing. As soon as the project is complete the deck will be put back together and the flowers brought back and soon it will have the Pearson's patio furniture with the Pearsons eating their outdoor meals.

Check it out! The appliances have been going in. The fridge is in the gazebo ready to find its home under the cupboard. The dishwasher is ready for dirty dishes and the sink is installed and the water is flowing as of last night.

Laura's view of the gazebo. So pretty.
OH MY! I just had a flashback of my first home on Clover St. in Woodland.
I had butcher block counter tops and a blue kitchen.
I am filled with good feelings.
The circle of life.

Once I did a post called 'during'. This is definitely a during picture. I'm sad I never took a before picture though. The room was pretty in an Asian theme. That wall color has got to go now. It just doesn't work anymore!

Bob is sheet-rocking as I type. There is Sophia's closet and door frame on the left. The backside becomes the little wall for the master bedroom. It will soon have Laura's touch and something wonderful will be displayed there.

There is a new electric panel in the cottage. You can see how our house used to be a glittery stucco affair and how the room was originally added on to the house. Chris had to go through all those layers to get to our basement on the other side where the house electric panel resides. Lots of new wiring now.
We're getting there!
And here is the reason for the season!
Little Miss Sophia Grace is coming special delivery.
Five more sleeps in Calgary!
I can hardly believe it!

  1. I would never use the dishwasher again!! What a view from the kitchen sink. It's looking so great. I can't wait for the after pictures...although the during pictures are so fun.
