I just love it when this happens. . . I was daydreaming today and thought I would like to take my nieces to a blueberry field to pick berries and make a pie when they visit next week. I thought of my friend Rosie and imagined going to her farm to do so, but I haven't seen Rosie in over two years. How does that happen?? Life moves quickly and time passes and the weeks turn into years. Thinking it would be a little rude to come asking this request after such a long time, I dismissed my thought. I carried on with my morning, but lo and behold, within half an hour of my thoughts Rosie and her daughter Sophie were standing at my front door ringing the bell. Rosie had a huge bucket of berries that she hand picked for me. I was so blown away that I about smothered my friends in hugs. We had a delightful visit, so much to talk about. I got to tell Sophie that I now have a granddaughter named Sophia! (I've always loved the name in both forms). Rosie thought for sure that Sophia was Gina's daughter because they look so much alike. Guess what we'll be doing next week? We'll be picking a basket of berries to make a pie!!!
such serendipity! too cool!
