Happy Thursday morning! My girlfriend just wrote to see if I was still galavanting or had I returned home from Portland? I love that word galavant. It was a word my Mom used. I think she was also one who loved a good galavant! I had to look the word up to make sure of its meaning and sure enough - "to wander about seeking pleasure or diversion." For someone who is a homebody I certainly do enjoy a good road trip. Although, I think I also galavant around the homestead. I usually call it puttering but all in all I think it is just a form of galavanting. True confessions....
