Where is that kitchen fairy when you need her?
I have to say we had a fun night with the Pearsons and the Shaws but by the time we were done the kitchen looked like a tornado hit it. Thank you to Bob for being so kind and doing the dishes!!!
The tortilla makers.
Laura did a fine job teaching Mara how to roll out the dough.
Here are our first customers.
Fortunately, the tornado hit kitchen is behind the photographer!
The refried beans seemed to expand from pot to pan to bowls and left their mess in the wake.
But it was well worth it and we had some happy taco eaters.
Grampa was in charge of the dessert and he did a great yummy job of it!
All this on a rainy Thursday fall evening.
Is there no end to the fun around this place???
Grama's tired.
She's going to bed now....

Mmmm it was so good!!! Thanks for all the hard work...those beans were to die for!! Even better the next day if you can imagine! :)
ReplyDeleteSteve and I had such a wonderful time. Thank you so so much for inviting my little clan. I know it was a lot of work, and we really appreciated and enjoyed the delicious results! Such a fun night.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful birthday get-away with your hubby. I've never been to the Oregon Coast, but I hear it's beautiful. I guess we'll have to do the movie thing in November!!
Hi Linda.
ReplyDeleteI am checking out your blog and drooling with envy over your taco night - not to mention Bob's dessert!!
Also got to see a little bit of your kitchen....are you sure you can live without that white and blue salt bassin! Ha, ha....
