You're The Cream In My Coffee

The Pearsons arrived Saturday night and Sophia and Grama didn't miss a beat. She had my teddy bears lined out within minutes and our life together in Maple Ridge had begun.
This was a special moment. The little book called "I Wear My Tutu Everywhere!" was regifted to Sophia Grace from my friend Anneliese who is about 15 years old now. It was originally given to her by my Mom and it is inscribed by Grama Eileen who absolutely adored Anneliese.  Anneliese even got to visit Grama Eileen in California one time on her way to Disneyland. Anneliese's sister Caroline Sophia Grace gave Sophia her little tutu from when she was  that age. What a great gift and surprise to give to my little grandaughter. It was jam packed full of meaning~ Sophia was dancing in no time! Thank you Zenky sisters!

I think Sophia looks a little like Grampa Bob in this picture for some reason.

Speaking of Grampa Bob here he is one day last week continuing on with his daily building. We are now pretty close to finishing the project.

Our friend Tim is working on the drywall and this is the slow process because it has to continue to dry between coats. Our target day to paint is next Monday. Bob will lay the hardwood in the bedrooms, the furniture pod arrives on the same Monday and voila! before we know it the Pearsons will be settled into their new abode.
Make sure you read Laura's blog for more details and pics.

  1. Looks like Bliss for you and Sophia!! How special for her to have the book from G. Grama Eileen from your friends. That would just delight Mom and I'm enjoying thinking how tickled it would make her :)

Sophia, enjoy twirling in your tutu in your Grampa's yard!
