Save the Kiwi

Today marks day two of our official start to the renovations in the guest room. It's a gruesome job that digging for plumbing but the end result will be a shower and kitchen sink!
Bob says to all the young people, 'get an education!'  No one asks for your diploma when you are digging ditches. But hey, you don't have to be a dentist to perform root canals. Bob did an excellent job in his last 'ditch' effort (ha ha) to save his 7 year old kiwi that grows along side the back of the house. He is expecting real fruit this year so we are hoping this operation doesn't thwart its growth and health.
Ah! The sound of the cement saw is ringing in my ears. Our good buddy Ernest is moving in for a week to help the senior citizens with their project. Tomorrow will be a garage sale (the kind I would never go to but that people seem to love) and the beat goes on.

Good job, Bob!
