I have tried my hardest to share a cultural experience with you, but I am finding it quite difficult to manage my blog this morning. There is a new format to doing this and quite frankly, I have spent too much time on this already. So here are pictures without any commentary. This is the funeral we attended last week. The actual service was held at a traditional funeral home and the family brought their Vietnamese culture to the ceremony in the same way we bring in our traditions. Afterwards, we were invited to the Buddha temple for food and refreshment. I was especially amused with the sign that greeted us at the entrance to the parking lot - "You are watching by camera." So be careful!
