Lola Marie Woods has arrived.
Her birthday was September 6, 2009.
Mother and Baby are resting in hospital after a c-section.
Lola came into the world on her own schedule. I love that about her already. She was due on September 19 and the doctor had scheduled her to be born on September 10. But no, she had places to be and people to meet and she greeted her mommy and daddy early Sunday morning. That makes her Sunday's Child. I like that about her too. Big Brother Sam is at home with Grama Carol and Grampa Rodger who scurried to Guelph just as quickly as they could on such short notice. We can't keep a girl waiting, now can we?

I was out all day and I got a phone call from my sis saying how beautiful my granddaughter is even before I had a chance to check the computer. I had to agree with her about the beauty of Lola. Look at that lovely hair!
Grampa Bob and I are thrilled to have our third grandchild. I will be flying to Ontario on September 24 to spend two weeks with Lola and her family.
Lola Marie is a family name...Her great, great grandmother on Bob's side was called Lola Corona. I just found out that her middle name was actually Marie as well. My grandmother was Marie and that is my middle name and Gina's too. Grama Carmen and Aunt Deann are also Maries. Pretty cool indeed.
You can bet that you will be hearing more news and seeing more pictures just as soon as I have them. Stay tuned.
