Sophia is the same age that Sam was when they visited last June so we found the little 'lawnmower' that Sam used and Sophia was thrilled to push it all over the front walkway. She loves to push Grama's little footstools all over the house and yesterday she discovered that she enjoys pushing her own stroller. She absconded Laura's Starbucks coffee cup and she pushed a minute and then sipped her coffee a minute - a true yuppie. Grampa has a tradition of taking his grandchildren for Pho and they all love noodles so it is a very fun outing. Bob was offended today when the Vietnamese waiter called him a Caucasian. Go figure. That's what we get for going to a different restaurant where they don't know Bob is Vietnamese.
Today was a very special day as we welcomed a brand new addition to our Matthews clan. Sophia has a brand new second cousin named Briana who lives in California. She is a darling and belongs to my nephew Joshua and her Mommie Esmerelda. Grampa Troy says she is #12 and we now await #13 and #14 this fall. Life doesn't get any better than that.
