Dave and Sara

It's great having Dave and Sara here. Unfortunately, they are here because of Dave's Grampa's funeral. We are very sorry for his Grama Betty and his father Jim. They have just left for the service in Chilliwack and we are now doggy-sitting for Bishop, although she is happily napping in the guest suite so she is no trouble at all. We'll look forward to taking her for an afternoon walk when Bob returns from his day's events. Bish stayed with us for a while during the summer before last and we had a blast walking her around the neighboring river trails.

We made polenta for dinner last night so that meant we got to have fried polenta and eggs for breakfast. We, meaning me and the Browns. Bob was a good boy and went off to yoga to sweat it out. I'll be a good girl and go later this evening when I return all the saris I borrowed in September. (Sorry about the saris)  They are needed for a weekend wedding.

We called Pa Troy this morning and we had a great visit with him and mom. Daddy couldn't tell Sara and my voices apart. It was fun and Daddy was good for a couple of stories. One was especially humorous about my Uncle Bob getting his head stuck between a muffler and some other car part while he was repairing someone's car years ago. It turned out that the owner of the car was the great grampa of Scott's current girlfriend and as this story was told on Thanksgiving Scott's mom found out he had a new girlfriend! Something like that....I also heard about my sister Sandy's exploding pyrex dish and grease fire and near death experience with a bullet shaped glass shard. My goodness! Daddy should be writing his own blog! We appreciate his great emails in the meantime.

It's always a great day when my children are near!!!!
